I am interested in this screen.Wondering if is effective at taking any wind off your chest.Traied a tall screen,my helmet shook so violent i couldnt see no matter where i adjusted it.It was good without the helmet.I liked the pressure of the wind off my chest high speed there was no fighting , just relaxed.A steady 90 mph felt comfy.I will have it painted black i think that it would look good. Thanks for any input.

I have one. I like how it looks. It must do something because the bug guts seem to collect on my helmet more that my face. I think any smaller sized shield is only as good as the user's physique allows. Actually, buffeting has only been moved to new locations. I rate the fly screen size mostly useless for a person 5'9". Jus sayin' - opinions may vary.

I found a fly screen, combined with fork lowers more effective than a Triumph summer screen, alone. Way more stable tracking, in variable winds. Just a reduced, but even wind force on your upper torso and head. Yeah, you will absorb/enjoy a few more bugs, though.

Size and function will vary.
I'm 5'7" and I loved it at first. Kept winds off my chest and high speed rides were a bit easier.
But, I took it off because I got buffeting winds like crazy around my helmet. In the end, this was more annoying than anything.
Standing up a bit and I could feel clean air above my helmet position. So, I'm not tall (or short) enough for this screen.
If you are talleror shorter than 5'7", then this might be good for you.

thanks i am 6 ft tall maybe it will be good for me. Now i just gotta find a used one .The bugs dont bother me im always hungry.

I'm 5'10" and I love my Dart Screen. I definitely noticed it taking the pressure off my chest. Bugs hitting my faceshield, ehhh.... I'm just glad it's a full face or I'd have an interesing kaleidoscope of colours on my face after a ride around the mountains. I also installed some lowers and noticed that seemed to help with high speeds. I'm much more comfortable running at higher speeds with them installed.

Gotta ask... And this may seem stupid... What are fork lowers? Are they lower fork springs? Just trying to see what helped with the wind there cause I might be interested. Ive got a 40mi one way trip to work all at interstate speeds and the wind can become unbearable some times.

Fork mounted wind defectors, they come in various colors and shapes and make sure you get the right size mounts by measuring the diameter of your forks. Call Fast Eddy, he can hook you up.

No need to think it's stupid. As Ryk said, they are wind deflectors mounted on the forks and made a world of difference for me. I'm much more willing to cruise the slab now, although I still prefer to keep away from the traffic.
Mine are clear (a little hard to see in the pics I posted, sorry) and I got them from FastEddy.
