I'm using Howard Johnson's computer here in Helena this morning and before I'm off to the airport to fly back home to just say that John's memorial service yesterday was something I'm glad I didn't miss.

It was my great pleasure to see my old BA.com friends moe, RKTBob, GMike, wrwallpi, Z and Karen here, AND to meet and share some memories of John with some of John's friends and family yesterday.

I'd also like to thank Gene, who did an excellent job of setting this whole thing up and making John's memorial service a wonderful experience.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I couldn't have said it better myself and I feel the same.
Gene and family did a great job! It was good to share laughs and tears with all. I do believe it helped us all in a big way. Thanks Gene!
Next time we get to see each other it will be under better circumstances Im sure.

The ceromony in Helena was like the fourth of July: a celebration of John's life. John's bullock was there as were his leathers, his Rally T's folded up with the event showing all layed out on a table. Many bikes. Lot's of heat. Lot's of stories. What a day. Good times, sad times. A veritable cacophony.

I arrived home last night at 10:15pm EST.

Hat's off to Geno. The Celebration was superb.

Thanks to those who attended. I know everyone on here was there in heart and soul.
Hopefully one of John's young friends will put Bullock back on the road where she needs to be.
Rest in peace John Bedard

Makes me feel good to see his bike and shirts from places he had been knowing he had enjoyed all that and by extension was doing what he loved up to the end.

I want to thank everyone that attended John's Celebration last Sunday!

I also want to thnk all those that were thinking of John and were there in spirit!

We appreciate your thanks and I am glad we were able to get it all together. It was also great to meet you all!

If you have pics from the day please send them to johnbedardpics@gmail.com and we will add them to the other pics and get them out in the not too distant future.

Thanks again,
