We are very fortunate as BA/Speedy enthusiasts to have such phenomenal vendors looking out for us.
About a week ago my clutch cable broke. I repaired it with some silver solder so I could get home, but this is not a long-term fix. I have aftermarket cables that I bought from www.BellaCorse.com about 3 years ago. I had to get extended cables for my apes, so the stock cable wouldn't work. I contacted Mike (racedweeb) over at bellacorse and he told me he would get the cable repaired or replaced by the manufacturer under warranty, I just had to send it to him. He informed me however that it may take 4 weeks or more to get it back. Well, the Midwest Rally is in about 4 weeks, and I didn't want to risk not having a cable (or a bike) for the rally. When I mentioned my conundrum to Mike he actually pulled the clutch cable off of his personal America and sent it to me to use while mine is being repaired. Very cool move on the part of another one of our fine vendors.

Also thanks to arstaren and fasteddy for helping me try to find a cheap back-up replacement cable. You guys rock.

My few dealings with Mike have been just as good. He spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone when I wanted shocks for Wendys bike to try and get them right. He hit the mark and was great to talk to too.

Mike is good people. I just wish he was more involved here.

A few years back at the Nelson rally I also broke a clutch cable from Bellacorse. Sent it back to Mike and he replaced it no charge. Good service is right. If that item would have been purchased from some of the bike shops in my area there would have been a fist fight before they would even consider replacing it at no charge.
