A number of years ago, I was riding just outside of town and out of the blue, a big barn owl swooped me, close enough to hear his feathers and scare the bejesus out of me. A couple of days later, in the same spot, he/she did it again! I figured the owl maybe did it to protect a nest in a close by barn or tree. A few months later another friend of mine said that same owl did the same thing to him in his car. The weird thing to me was it was in the middle of the day and I figured an owl was nocturnal.
