Got hit by a bird once, or did I hit the the bird? I was going about 60 mph down a two-lane rural highway. Saw it coming out of the corner of my eye, and tried to Matrix dodge it. I was not successful. The robin clipped my left shoulder, and I saw it spin off and land in the shoulder in my mirror. Hurt like hell and left quite a nasty bruise. I still flinch every now and again when a bird catches me off guard.
