Not sure what a "normal day" is for you, however mine tends to run +/- about that as a central point, depending on ambient temperature.

A lot detemines the engine temp. A "normal day" here has been in the mid-90's lately. My 2010 America runs 200 plus a bit after 25-30 miles steady running at 60+, and stays there till I slow down. Couple months ago with temps in the low to mid 80's it was right where yours is.

I don't intend to turn this into an oil thread; that said, the oil used does make a difference in engine temps under certain conditions. With M1-15/50 my bike rarely exceed 200F on the hiway, even in 90+ weather, even in traffic.
I noticed that my bike tends to run a bit warmer in really hot weather with Rotella T6-5/40, & I'm not surprised at that.

Your carbs are ultra dialed in too and jetting (A/F mixture) effects engine temp too. My bike runs about 180º to 190ºF on an average day running the slab or hard in the twisties. On a really hot day in traffic I have seen about 220ºF and even 230ºF when I was stuck in construction at a stand still almost on a scorching hot day, we started to move shortly after. Good thing since I was about to shut the bike off and sit until it cooled off.

For posterity's sake, a standard day is 59 degrees Fahrenheit and 29.92 inHg.
Edit: at sea level.

I took a ride today, air temps were in the high 80's, & just cruising along, oil temps were in the 180 - 190 range.
At 70 F, on my bike oil temps are generally in the 175 range.
