IF your viewing area doesn't have a lot of exposure to light, i second the idea of the projector - most folks will buy a screen to go with, but the hometheaterforum has plenty of posts on how to paint your wall to make it just about as good. also, you'll probably pay a few $$ for someone to come out and calibrate it but it's worth it. projectors can go way bigger than TV's and they don't have problems w/ burn-in.
