Just chiming in here after a great day to say thanks to yaz all for the good and hardy birthday wishes. And what's with all this 60 stuff? I'm only a day older here guys!!
Weather-wise it was a beautiful day. I had commitments in the afternoon so I headed out in the morning for a 2 hour ride. Geeze my bike is running good this year... so smooth, so quiet (tappity-tap wise) and so strong. Not sure why... all I did was change the oil and clean the K&N air filter but hey, I'm not complaining!
Come noon I dove into the studio to record (and I haven't told you about her yet, but she's AMAZING) some original stuff from a 15 y.o. with soooooo much to offer. What a privilege to produce her material and act as a musical mentor. So we did that, and when I drove her home I ended up visiting with her Mom over a glass of wine on a beautiful afternoon. Came home, feed myself and got to thinking about the big birthday party planned for next Saturday. There will be food, drink, music and great friends up on the Skydeck which many of you have visited.
Again, thanks to everyone here for reminding me I'm 60!
Thought I'd write this up before too many more glasses of wine and before I couldn't type anymore.
