I don't know much about them, BUT my friend has a WEGA wide screen HD, not sure what size, pretty big considering it is wide screen... And it's a CRT I believe, not LCD. BIG and heavy, but REAL nice for movies. Only thing about the wide screen is he watches TV shows with the picture "stretched" to fit and it's funky. Great for movies, bad for TV... So tepending, if you watch more TV than DVD, get a normal aspect ratio, more for movies, wide screeen is nice. Just my 2 cent
