I think it would be an upgrade if I spent an hour every mourning commuting to work, and probably not on a "fun" highway.
I love my America and I'll take long road trips for an adventure, for fun and I know what to expect as far as comfort. Heavier bikes with more torque just do better on highways, they're just not as much fun and convenient around town and in the twisties.
