That's one of the things I can't understand about people. They come in where I work and steal 3 bucks worth of screwdriver bits. The typical sentence for petty theft is 90 days. That tells me these people consider their lives to be worth less than a dollar a month! On top of that, they will grab a 6 pack of bits and take 2 bits from it when there is a 2 pack of the same bit hanging in the next spot that would have been easier to steal.
