I'm 27 so though I'm not a teen I have a little insight into my generation. I think that a majority of kids to day feel entitled. I think that they feel like the world owes them something and if, for instance, they don't get a job they feel as though the world is wrong and not them. Many things are contributing to this I think, but a lot of it is this post modernist attitude that says right and wrong is a personal and not universal paradigm. My brother is suffering from this right now as the last few years his grades have been plummeting and he has been increasingly in trouble with the law and he has a "how dare they" attitude about it. It almost makes me want to home school my daughter. Almost
