That reminds me of a kid that works under me. He has palsy or something like that. Another associate was looking at free doughnuts they put out for us and asked me if I thought they were OK. I saw the kid with palsy eating one and asked him if they tasted good. He said to me without skipping a beat,"They taste OK but look what they did to me." I about fell over laughing. He is a good kid and makes me laugh a lot.
The humanity of it .................I love stories like this. I have learned so much about life from those who we call handicapped. One autistic boy comes to mind right off. You have to listen to what he says because he plays word games with ya. Very clever fellow he is.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.
