I guess that will remain the capital blunder of all VP history.
I remember on my 72 Ford pickup we pulled the heads did the valve job and put it back in one evening. I changed the carb on my ole LTD in one after noon. It was one of the first years for the variable venturi rigs for Ford. $30 for an old carter carb $20 bucks for a rebuild kit, and 2 hours under the ole shade tree...........bam done. It ran like a top. We once swapped an engine out of a Torino into a Truck in 4 hours.
