Good luck finding anything simple under a hood now. You're best bet is going to be driving pre-70 vehicles if you can live without amenities like A/C and power windows. Plus, recycling old cars is the greenest form of transportation. I guess I'm surprised to hear you say you won't support a company that didn't take government bailout money, too.
