yeah i get that problem too, its kinda sporadic though. Ive noticed if I let it warm up a bit after startup it doesnt give me a problem with inconsistant water.
It would make sense if the electronics are getting wet. I have that piece that lets you use regular coffee which just sits in there and spills water everywhere.
