I first saw those Keurig things over in Australia and thought it was bollocks. Plus I wasn't impressed by the coffee it made.
When I was looking for a replacement coffee maker, last year, I remembered those French press gizmos. Simple, easy to clean, no descaling, no solenoids, no worrying about if the water is hot enough or is there enough flow. And no having to deal with those little cups. It's simple, works brilliantly and makes a damn fine cup of coffee.
