I had one wheel kicker at a services, ask me "who" was making Triumphs these days or had I had the bike re registered with new plates!
So I got on my
and proceeded to tell him that surprisingly "Triumph" make Triumphs here in the good old UK and are selling more bikes today than they did in the 60's! Also had a bike cop stop me to ask where I got my pipes from cos he wanted a set, these were the standard after market pipes which I confessed to him that are technically illegal in the UK. He just said "Ta, loud pipes save lives" jumped on his Honda Pan and no doubt shot of to his nearest Triumph dealer to place an order!
