I have had a Raptor 2 jacket for 3 years and never had a problem with it. I recently got a Corbin seat with a backrest and have discovered a rather annoying feature. The Raptor 2 has zipper on the inside that goes around the waist. There is another zipper, about 6" long that is attached to the first zipper which goes across the lower back. The problem is that the zipper is perfectly placed between my back and the backrest. Does anyone know what this zipper is for? Has anyone else experienced this problem, and possibly a solution? I am starting to develope a bruise just to the left of my spine from this zipper.

Usually that means you can zip it to some Raptor pants.

FYI,Next time you visit a Triumph dealer look at the MC jackets. They almost all have an inside lower back zipper. That zipper corresponding to a zipper on the back of their MC pants, so the lower back is not exposed while riding.  I don't own a Corbin backrest or a seat, for that matter. But, you are not alone, my jacket's back zipper bothers me when I sit on a high backed bar stool.

Most all MC jackets have that zipper anymore. If you're not going to zip it to some pants, delete it.

that zipper is pretty sweet. the standard is 8 inches, and it seems to be pretty universal. let me tell you, it's worth attaching to pants. keeps the chilly wind from blowing down your crack.
