Thanks coco for that info!!! seems like most everything i wanna see is within walkin distance. i am thinkin Time square, Macy's, Empire st bldg, and i am wanting to see the twin towers memorial and the Statue of Liberty. thanks also for the heads up about the carriage rides cuz i would have been suckerd into the first one for sure hahahahaha. Mike, you nailed it, i cant even think NEW YORK CITY, without it sounding like that commercial about the hot sauce hahahahaha funny how some things are burnt in from something as silly as a tv commercial
Ellis Island should be part of the tour to Lady Liberty, if you have any relatives that may of came through at that time, it would be fun looking up their name on the memorial. AmyLee went to N.Y. back in 2006, via the train to Madison Square Gardens from Trenton N.J. area.
When I was a kid I got to go up the arm into the torch. They haven't allowed that in a loonnnng time.
