The drain plug washers are cheap, and I change mine every time. Just order a few from the dealer, or BikeBandit, that way you'll have them on hand for future use.

I use the Bosch 3300 oil filter, and it is short enough that I have never noticed any scraping on the bottom of the old filters when removed. Some filters that fit and will work are a bit taller, and I did find the taller filter scrapes when riding over some "road hump" type speed bumps.

$80.00? That's pretty steep. Shell Rotella T-6 Synthetic and the Bosch 3300 filter should be just a little over $30.00.

I made my $20.00 Bike Lift soon after I brought my baby home, and kept outdoors for 8 years, she's holding up pretty well. That has been one fine investment - one of the best, most useful tools I own. Well worth having.
