When I first saw the pics I thought it was chopped with a rat bike paint job. That was until I had a closer look. Hope the owner wasn't seated on it when it went up. Could have really risked roasting the family jewels if the exit wasn't quick enough.

You guys with the black paint jobs had better watch out then. I seem to have read they're the fastest?

Was kinda thinkin' the same thing too, Mac. However, my thought was more that often mentioned advice we give out around here to all the newbies about avoiding the practice of giving the throttle a few twists before attempting to fire these babies up.

All other damage aside, at least they followed the jet calculator.

Uh huh...except apparently for that part in the "jet calculator" where it says: "NEVER park your Triumph motorcycle directly within 100 feet behind a General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon while its Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-200 afterburning turbofan engine is being ground power-tested!"

Nah, I'm pretty sure unless you need to clean out the drain lines in your house, that's NOT what ya need here, Ade.

(...well, I suppose that is unless Wendy's hair might be cloggin' up your drains, and THEN I suppose you MIGHT need that too...'cause it certainly couldn't be YOUR hair that might be the cause of that, huh!!!)

taken from the item description... "OKAY YES SHE HAD A LITTLE FIRE BUT STILL PLENTY OF GOOD PARTS MOTOR APPEARS FINE AND USEABLE"

holy hell, good thing it didn't have a LOT of fire, the damage might have been pretty bad!

(...heck, I'm surprised you're not on the phone to Australia right now seein' how much that bike will cost ya to ship it across the Pacific!!!)

Could be the owner didn't heed one of the dozen or so "warning" stickers affixed to a motorbike, or the one stuck to his wife's forehead. Apologies to Mr. Prine

Oh so true. And when it's crap, it turns black...

Yep, the black ones are indeed the fastest. But due to the color the drag coefficient & air friction are so greatly diminished they stay
