There are two ways to power up an engine, old school, remove metal and reduce restriction, the other method, ala Nascar is to add strategic restriction to the air/fuel flow mix and increase the velocity. Unfortunately, I only know of one motorcycle shop in the country, that offers the second option and they are basically a Harley shop. They can and do extract phenomenal usable power out of V-Twins.
