I got one of the CruzTools kits. Think from newbonneville.com but I'm sure similar kits are at most internet motorcycle stores. I removed a few unneeded bits and added others. Imagine you could likely find most tools at a pawn shop and roll them in a towel for basic needs. Keep it in the tail bag on my shortened cargo rack.
