Man it's always the little things, so i get home and put the bike back up on the lift, take out all the tree bolts and loosen up the tree's a bit (pried them open) and nothing , then i start looking around, am i missing a bolt?? but what is this? the top of the fork boots have a screw in them to hold them up against the bottom yoke yup can you believe it, those little clamps were holding up the full front end so unscrew, move boots down and.......wait for it........ success!! so up they go 3/4 of an inch each, re-button her up to specs and out for a scoot, much better. Front end seems more planted, weight distribution is better, steers in a bit better, could be me but progressives seem sturdier (if that makes sense) all and all i am happy with the change. thanks for all your help otherwise guys... but i bet no one thought of that hey?
