I wouldn't use any lube on the tubes- it might cause them to cause them to unwantedly slide through going down the road- I'd clean the tubes under the trees with some thinner or brake kleen- loosen the bolts- then while lifting up on the wheel- tap down on the trees with a rubber mallet-
