The problem is that the information is presented in a fantastic hyperbole that causes youths (particularly those rebellious as I was) to thumb their noses at the warnings. If it were approached as clinical and honest you would get a much better response. I know that after watching a documentary on stds and the treatment there of, in my high school anatomy, and physiology class condom sales sky rocketed at the local stop and rob.




When has drugs ever been presented with fantastic hyperbole, the 1950s when I was a child maybe? Marijuana! With the exception of maybe heroin most all recreational drugs at one time were promoted by governments and the medical establishment. For example,in Japan, meth was sold over the counter like aspirin till the 1950s.

I used the fatgrin because we don't have a grin icon with rotten teeth......
