(...but ironically was once eliminated in the first round of his elementary school spelling bee because he flat refused to spell certain words using that dumb British superfluous letter "u" they got from the French...and thus his rebelliousness had started at a very early age...yep, lucky for us independent-minded and freedom loving Yanks, huh!!!)






Just be glad they didn't pick up all those extra O's and X's along the way. French is the only language I know of where the spelling and pronunciation are totally unrelated.
