thanks roadie, Sorted, half hour job, i tested voltage at reulator side (black red) wire, and then on other side of plug (brown) wire, same so connection was good, as its hard to get to the b/red wire from regulator , i spliced into the brown,connected a thick starter type cable to this , and inserted a 30 amp fuse inline,strait to live on battery, this is my results= BEFORE MOD battery 12.90, ign on 12.75. running at idle 13.60 slight rev up 13.65,

AFTER MOD done == battery 13.00 ign on 12.90 running at idle 14.50 slight rev 14.80 v thats a nice 1.20 volt increase in charging. neutraL lights bright NO FLICKER thank you for your advice , recommend this mod to anyone, when you look at ratnet forum it seems confusing because he does it on a 2004 daytona joining two wires together both on live and earth, but our americas speedmasters are easier, 1 wire no cutting plugs off and i fuse holder with 30 amp blade fuse,yeahha
