If you decide to go with JCW turnouts I got the 27 inch ones. I had to baffle them to get some backpressure but I really like them.
A couple of things I found. At first they seemed too loud but I found that if you turn them straight down at the pavement the sound echos right back into your helmet but if you turn them out like some old school sidepipes they sound great.
They are 3 inch pipes after the connector pipe. You can drag them fairly easy. I considered trying to turn them out at about a 45 degree angle so when I was cornering aggressively they would be parallel with the ground.
I made my own baffle for them.
