In the 80s the Beatles sold rights to sell Nike shoes. (You say you want a revolution well you know ..........Nike shoe make you jump higher, run faster, and even dunk a basketball........) Its great to be an idealist, but music and movies are business, and all those mega rich stars don't do thier thing on the cheap so that the poor schumcks out there can enjoy it equally with those who can afford the exhorbitant price of admission. No sir Bob they expect their millions for what ever it is that they do. Does that make them hypocrites?
