Agent Orange was Monsanto. They have made money on war for decades now. Just like DuPont. Chemical companies make chemicals and the defense industry pays big for them.
They don't own Blackwater though. They own a lot of stuff, I may be wrong.
GMOs help to feed a starving world. Chemicals that have been banned because of fear can have a reverse effect. Malaria was all but gone thanks to DDT. Now, it is making a comeback. Agent Orange was a mixing error, (Round Up) works very well. Again Monsanto became the evil monster that killed our troops.
Remember the miracle of Asbestos? Won't wear out, won't burn , mold into any shape, insulate with it, etc. etc. Mistakes will happen.
If we had to study things for 50 years before we used them they would be obsolete before production could begin.
There are those that need a few acres, a horse and some hand tools. Everything else is way too dangerous to handle. All natural farming in the 21st century cannot produce enough to feed the world.
I choose the science. I am glad the foods are enhanced. I am glad they generally don't have all natural e coli in them etc. I am very happy we can produce 30% more per acre of certain crops to ensure people eat.
This is a like a Global warming discussion though. There is no consensus of science on it to my knowledge.
