any northern midwesterners going to the spring slimey crud ride?

It is a pretty low key, non HD fest (rare for Wisconsin) event, no cost, ride what you got kind of thing. Lots of vintage stuff gets riden there. I have been going for the last 10 years or so. the last few times I have seen a lot of SM and Americas but hadn't previously thought about them belonging to people from BA.

05 speedmaster - 1100cc, 11:1 racing pistons, Carillo rods, thunderbike cams, ported and polished head, 2mm over intake and exhaust valves, Barnett kevlar clutch, scepter pipes, oversize manifolds, 45mm HSR's, TTP stage 4 firestarter

I plan on going. Not sure whether I can make a weekend out of it, or if I'll just ride up for the day.

if you (or anyone else) are interested, there is a group leaving out of the Oconomowoc area (about half way between Madison and Milwaukee)to ride out to Leland. It is a mixed group of riders/bikes and ranges in size from 2-3 to 15 or so (mostly depending on the weather). We usually plan to meet at a convenient location around 10am and get to Leland 12-1230.
