the Apple pads / tablets - a miracle of technology to be sure, but.... and it's a mighty big ugly but(t):
They have no USB and no memory card ports. Not even their own brew Firewire port.
Wanna load those digital camera photos on via cable or memory card? Can't.
Apple will however, sell you cloud space. Wanna send your photos up to the i cloud direct from your camera?
Um, how does one do that with a iPad? Hmmm....
A fairly glaring omission, in my limited opinion. Perhaps the latest greatest iPad now has ports. Last year's didn't.
