You do know that you have access to the exact same settings when you get to the Network pane in System Preferences, right?

Again, people are "fluent" in one or the other, not often in both .... If you're a PC guy (or gal) and it makes you feel comfortable, then it's all fine. But, as a Mac user, I can play with the same settings that you seem uncomfortable to find in a Mac environment.

I just had a brush with W7 today and I couldn't locate anything I wanted to setup (like Network preferences)... it was driving me nuts.... and gave up on setting up my internet connection via a W7 laptop.

As you can see, I'm uncomfortable in a PC environment, but give me 1 1/2 minutes and I'll setup your Mac to connect to your wireless!
