I have a HP laptop with XP for work (Sony Vaio with Windows 7 for personal use). My wife, daughter and son all have Mac's. I have had my HP/XP for about 4 years (never had one problem with it), during that time I've replaced all of the Mac's at least once due to unrecoverable issues.
