I remember the John Carter books from my early days in the service enjoyed them a lot. Simple reading, pure entertainment. The movie is the same. Kick back and enjoy the ride. Great special effects and imagery, good story line, and solid acting. Flows well and is easy on the eyes. This all means I liked the movie.
