(( my two cents )) $14 All Purpose Mechanic's gloves (at any autoparts store) are vastly superior in comfort, quaility and durability.. than any 'biker' gloves purchase from bike site/store

I hear ya Mike... and I use such gloves for my off road riding. But for the road I like having a gauntlet style glove for better protection against the weather and as John mentioned, deerskin gloves rule!! But the red... red oh, red. Love that red!

Those gloves are bad a$$ Keith. I wear black fox racing dirtpaws for nice weather riding. These were what I was wearing when I went down and my hands didn't have a scratch, wish I could say the same for the gloves.

I wear triumph brand portland. They are probably the softest leather gloves I have ever had.

I have been looking for a good warm pair of gloves. When I ride in the 30 degree weather the only part that gets cold is my fingers. any suggestions aside from Keith's red gloves that clash with my bike.

I probably won't need them until November, but on a recent trip, I stopped at a new Triumph dealer to check them out, and it was cold. I picked up a pair of Cortech Scarab Winter Motorcycle Gloves, 97$ I think. I am very happy w/ them. They can be had cheaper online, but I am always nervous about sizing. http://www.bikebandit.com/cortech-scarab-winter-motorcycle-gloves

Aerostich elk skin ropers. I'll bet they're the same as John's but he can just go to local store to find his.
