No question about that, OB. However, considering that the regular Sportster 1200 is rated at around 70 HP, about 15 more than the Triumph Bonneville line, AND considering the XR1200 is rated even higher at around 90 HP, and EVEN considering that the redline on any H-D isn't a high as on the Triumphs and that the H-Ds have a narrower powerband, I still can't quite understand all this talk how our Triumphs can equal the straight-line performance of the XR1200s?!

(...btw, I have to admit that just like Ryan, the XR1200 is the ONLY Harley that has peaked my interest in owning for quite some time...yep, finally a H-D that looks like it would ACTUALLY be fun to ride and is NOT just some "Ass Ornament" to be seen upon so you can "look cool to everybody else"...but then again, ANY motorcycle that even VAGUELY resembles a Street-Tracker, I've always been all for!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
