Are the ProCom units so finicky that this is the preferred fix?
I sometimes wonder if the problem is ProCom or the changes people make to the engine and exhaust? As I said before my engine and exhaust are stock. It rode nice after I installed the ProCom unit when my OEM CDI failed, I've only driven her a couple of times since installing the ProCom unit so time will tell.
I have thought that too, maybe it's fine for a mostly stock ride but for a built up motor that's ridden like a guided missile, it may not be the best option... as I've said before, I'm not giving up on mine, still gonna try and get it really dialed in before I make a final judgement
