Nope, that's wrong....the alpha character designates the speed rating of the tire..."H" = 130 max design speed - 210 test speed. the numerical character designates the Load Index sic: 57= 507 lbs (230 kg), 61= 567 lbs (257 kg), & etc. So....an MC tire with a "71H" would have a load Index of 71 = 761 lbs (345 kg) with a speed rating of 130 mph (design)/210 mph (test).
