War veterans who witness the horrors of war at such a young age but come home to live a normal life by raising a large family are our greatest asset. It takes an honorable man to keep those terrible memories inside but show nothing but love, support and friendship to all who surrounded him. I am sorry for his passing and my condolences to you and your extended family. He sounds like he was a great guy and I would have been honored to sit down and have a beer with him.
