OK, thanks guys. One hole for an optional alarm and one for setting an optional clock. And I saw in the EFI owners manual here that Triumph added a low fuel warning and a MIL to the speedo on those models. Funny, I looked at a 2009 before I bought my 2004 and didn't notice them; guess I was distracted by that extra wide gas tank between my legs. I assume the new tank had a sensor for the fuel light that is not adaptable to the older tanks? Seems like a good thing to have instead of having the engine die and searching for the reserve position with semis whizzing by.
