Well folks, it's that time of the year again, when we make a trip to the car wash, to bring out the spit and shine of our work horses, to see and to be seen at the annual Burapa bike rally in Pattaya, Thailand, which is where I live.
I think this is the biggest rally in Thailand, so everyone who's anyone gets their ass in gear and hauls their two wheelers to the Burapa stadium.
The rally attracts bikers from all over the world
...as well as some really interesting characters
Some of the bikes this year aren't just solid, they're bullet proof!

As always, anything and everything on two wheels (and sometimes even four) has been represented.
From the raked out choppers...
...to motorized bicycles...
...to some nifty customs and everything in between.
Needless to say, no self respecting bike show would be complete without Thai cowboys (Thaiboys?)
...and Thai Indians (Thaindians?)
Since we're indeed in Asia, no cowboy and Indian show would be complete without some Malaysians...
...and heavily tattooed Australians in the mix
Good times were had by all as our friend, the leopard clad Afro-Thai-something rocked the house.
This year's Bang Saen rally is scheduled for this Saturday. I will try to make it there and if I do, I will duly report on that meet as well.
