I dont think thats true at all. I interact with the police on a daily basis and I had one of them run my info on his cruiser computer and show me what pops up. Sure enough when you punch in my info all my drivers info,address etc comes up along with my CCW info. I asked if that makes him nervous when that comes up on his screen. His response was that its quite the opposite. He knows that anyone who has a CCW is not a convicted felon ,has taken the time to go to the classes, go through a federal background check and pay the fees(its not cheap). The odds are very high that that person is a law abiding citizen. As he put it "criminals dont go to all that trouble,they just buy a street gun and carry it in their pants regardless of the law"
