I'm a huge SIG fan - prefer the medium frame (P239), chambered in S&W .40 - nice in-between round. But I don't carry an auto (especially on the road). I also love SIG's trigger. But they are finicky if you don't keep them clean.

Even though I like the idea of the added capacity of the sig, the reality is that if I need more than 5 rounds before a reload, I've got much bigger problems.

So, if I carry for personal protection, it's the Ruger SP-101 .357 revolver. It's rock-solid reliable. It has plenty of stopping power. It's very accurate. And it's comfortable for concealed carry. Cost me about 400.00
