Hi, has anyone installed this kind of (car) Led driving lights ? http://store.ijdmtoy.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=LED_DDL_SKU68&click=14113I'm just thinking that it might be placed below america's headlight as the width is not so much (haven't measured yet the bike) . Thinking of safety first, I think the car drivers will notice the blue light pretty well, but thinking of the looks it wouldn't be too ugly either ?

Marty has a light like that on his bike. He should post a picture of it. I like it because you don't really notice it, until it is on. I have bought them, and hope to put it on this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes when I'm done.

Hi, added the Led today and looks pretty nice (the mobile photo don't give justice). I've got a switch on console to turn it on. The Led gives 5 times 1 watt ( I guess you can multiply that by 8 (?) to get the old watts). https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-0dJ5a...-k/Kuva0123.jpg

This one DLR-CW5 looks identical I picked from local store. http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Fdrl.htmlI did't use the installation plate included as it looked bit weak to me. Found an U-shaped rostless iron that matched the led. Then cut another one that mounted below using the headlamp and used the two bolts below and it kept the U-shaped in place too. Had some extra strong installation tape to finish it. So all in all you need to bit improwise to get it there in right direction. Hope this helped.

I've been getting my LED's here: http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_led_bulbs.htm
VERY bright and good prices.

Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

How do I make a strip of LED lights that plug into an electrical outlet LED Spotlight wholesale and have an on/off switch? I have been searching led strip lights 12v online ALL DAY and found some really cool ideas like throwies, and LED flashlights, and other LED Tube battery operated LED's. But what I want to make is a strip of LED lights that I can arrange in a long narrow balsa-wood box,(about 2"X2"X36") with the actual diodes poking through holes in the top of the box. And then, at the end of the box, I want an electrical cord so that I can power this without batteries.

Marty gave me one almost identical to this, which I mounted beneath the headlight where is shines ever so brightly. I have it there no so much to see better but be SEEN better as you suggest, Lasse. And on that note of 'being seen'... Yesterday I went out for this year's first run. Came up to an intersection with an oncoming cager wanting to turn left. She waited until I got to the intersection, THEN turned left right in front of me. I run with headlight, 2 driving lights, 4 running lights plus the nice little LED light and still, SHE CUT ME OFF! Moral to this story... do what you can to be seen but still ride as though every cager is trying to take you out! (Btw... I hit my "loud as a friggin' train" horn and woke that cager up, RIGHT NOW! Moral to THIS story, hook up a decent horn too!)
Live to love, love to live.

Hi, after doing some serious kilometers this season , I've had really positive feeling about the led and that it has made a difference. The car drivers seem to notice much better now, in crossroads and while overtaking, but for situations like in Keith's post, there's no escape for being cautious. Nice and easy Summer everyone !
