Ive been thinking about how i could relocate the top end of the shocks/springs to get the lines flowing more smoothly. Of course i imagine this would require different spring rates and longer shocks which requres math i dont know how to figure out yet. Is this something anyone's done, not necessarily on our bikes. Just a thought while sitting at the bar.

Dertbikdennis has done it and it looks great.

http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...part=1&vc=1You must be wanting to move the top mount. Dertbikdennis stretched the swing arm and relocated the lower mount.

bampin old thread for great justice. I cant be the only person to think of this. Was thinking of maybe fabbing up a bracket, but i cant imagine it would be sturdy enough. I think the frame would HAVE to be drilled and tapped. Kinda a scary thought. Maybe something i'd attempt after i spring for a thruxton...

I've thought about moving my rear shocks around as well. I'd like to see some more info or thoughts on this as well.
