That's a good thought and I think that and gregger's warning that "a 100 watt headlight...bulb started to ruin the reflector in my headlight" are enough to make me stick with the stock wattage, but I did buy a couple of PIAA GT-X lamps on flea-bay last night that are supposed to have more useable light output at the same 60 watt draw.

BTW, comagination sales recommended the 115 watt modulator for a Triumph America; they also said the 75 watt unit is $10 less even though their web site had them both listed at $69.95.
