Here is my new ride. I miss my Triumph but this Victory handles well and is very fast for a big bike. Going from 790cc to 1731cc is a big jump but I think Sue and I will be comfy on this ride. The seat height is only 26.25" so my stubby legs reach the ground and I feel like the bike really fits me better than the others we looked at. http://i615.photobucket.com/albums/tt235/fishercat03087/DSC02094.jpg

Very very nice there, Ron! Last year I happened by the local Prescott Arizona M/C multidealer while the Victory demo truck was there, and so I took a spin on the Cross Country and overall was pretty much impressed with it. My only complaint was that I experienced some helmet buffeting at highway speeds with the same windshield you have on your machine there. Enjoy your new ride, ol' buddy!
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Dwight, I agree with you on the head buffeting and I plan on adding a higher Klockwerks flip windshield which is suppose to cure that issue. Also some win deflectors on the engine guards.

Congratulations! You got a nice machine there. If I needed to replace a Vision, the CC would be my first choice.
Did it come with that great paint work on the tank?
You might want to look at the Cee Bailey windshields. The correct height is key to avoiding the buffetting.
PS, there's a lot of good Victory information at www.thevmc.com There is at least one Victory riding group up in NH.
Good luck and ride safe.
